STEM kits are available for Missouri public and school librarians to check out for programing use at no cost to you. Classroom teachers who would like to borrow a STEM kit should work with their school librarian to request the kit.
Checkout periods last 45 days and up to two kits can be reserved at a time.
Shipping costs are assumed by the Missouri State Library. For public libraries, kits are shipped via Courier to the library district’s main branch. For school libraries, kits are shipped via UPS. There is a spot on the reservation form to indicate if the kit is intended for a different address or staff person than the person requesting the kit.
Libraries are responsible for the kit and its contents, which includes keeping the kit in a secure location when not in use. Libraries should complete the survey (included in the kit) before returning the kit to the Missouri State Library.
